I saw a similar issue on my Mac where the print job sit for 60 seconds in the Mac's print queue and then printed. HELP URGENT SMB printing problem afert applying the latest security update. I'd rather have a script I could run through MDM in a timely manor but as the actually cache for tickets is only available at the GUI level I never figured out how to do this.
